First trip to Germany

October 22, 2019

As I reflect…

Germany, a country with much history and culture. A place that sits more than eleven hours from home. Koblenz was the set destination with a landscape that was full of greenery from the vast amounts of trees and vineyards along with the water from two meeting rivers the Rhine and Moselle. The interactions I've had here have been nothing but welcoming, but even though many of the people spoke English, it was a little more difficult to really connect to the culture. Language being the first step to really understand the culture, I was out of my comfort zone as I found it hard to try to attempt the language and not with much luck. I am looking forward to the next visit, which hopefully will allow for more pleasure than business. This experience is another one for the books.
